Installing your new Pam

To quickly and easily install your new Pam AM200 with USB, please follow the below steps:

Note: FIRST INSTALL THE SOFTWARE AND THEN CONNECT THE PAM WITH YOUR PC!!!

(If you have an older model (AM100, AM101 or AM102) with a docking station and COM-port, please go to the download page.)

1. Install software:
   1. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the Pam Driver Software.

   2. If the Pam Driver Software installation was successful, you should now see a red Pam Logo () on your taskbar.
      
      
2. Connect: Find a free USB port on your computer and connect the Pam with the provided cable. The Pam will make contact with the PC after a few seconds and a download window will appear.
   
   
3. Register:
   1. The online registration procedure should start automatically: simply follow the instructions on the PC screen.
   2. You will need to create a username and password, and then register your name, address, weight, body height, gender and date of birth.
   3. Be sure to write down your Pam username and password, and keep them in a safe place.
   
   
4. Adjust the time: Following your online registration, your Pam should now show the correct local time. If it doesn't, please follow the below steps:
   1. Remove your Pam from the Docking Station.
   2. Double click the button. The hour display will start blinking.
   3. Adjust the time to the correct hour with the (+) or (-) buttons.
   4. Press the button once. The minute display will start blinking.
   5. Repeat step 2 to set the correct minutes.
   6. While the display is still blinking, press the button to set the time to dislay as either 24-hour or 12-hour (AM/PM).
   7. Press the button once again to stop the bliking display and start the clock.
      
      
5. Wear: Clip your Pam onto your belt or waistband, directly in line above your knee. It'll measure all your movement from now on.
   
   
   
   
   Note: Be sure to use the included Lanyard to secure your Pam to your belt or clothing. Click on to see how to use the lanyard, or see the Pam Owners Manual online (below).
   
   
6. Send & View
   1. At the end of the day or anytime you would like to send your data, remove your Pam from your belt and connect it to your PC with the provided cable. A small 'Reading Pam' dialogue box should appear on your PC screen momentarily.
      
      
   2. The automatic uploading of your Pam Scores should begin immediately. You'll be able to visually track the uploading, which should take no more than 30 seconds, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
      
      
   3. Normally, after Pam finishes uploading your Pam Score, your Web browser will open and your personal Pam Online Coach will load automatically. From this point on, simply follow and additional on-screen instructions.
